Labcon Laboratory Equipment (LABCON®) is a company which manufactures a wide range of high-quality laboratory equipment comprising of ovens, incubators, growth chambers, water baths, magnetic stirrers, hotplates, shaking platforms and much more.
LABCON®‘s factory is located in Chamdor, close to Johannesburg, South Africa.
The business brand was established in 1976 when a niche market for laboratory equipment was recognised. LABCON® is the market leader in South Africa for its products, which are manufactured locally in its own factory, all done under one roof.
All products which are exported are CE certified.

Incubators
LABCON Standard Incubators (FSIM) have been designed and manufactured to the highest standards & include the following features:
- Powder coated mild steel out housing
- 304 stainless steel vapour tight inner chamber
- Non-tip shelves
- Inner glass door with peripheral silicone gasket seal
- Outer door with magnetic gasket
- Fan assisted air circulation
Magnetic stirrers
LABCON Magnetic Stirrers are suitable for most types of laboratory applications where controlled stirring and heating is required.
The robust construction and large 150 x 150 stainless steel top allows for loads up to 20kg.
A wrap around top with recessed control panel reduces the chances of damage to the stirrer in the event of spillage.
Reliable microprocessor speed control with optical feedback ensures constant speed with load variations.
Waterstills
LABCON Waterstills are robustly constructed from 304 Stainless Steel ensuring a long
service life. The exterior is finished in a durable chemical resistant coat with a textured
finish. Corrosion resistant incaloy sheathed elements of a low watts density ensures long
element life. All Labcon Waterstills are fitted with a preset safety cut out thermostat. The
safety device protects the elements and chamber from possible damage in the event
of water failure.
